The Beach

As promised, here are the beach pics from our trip to FL! There were so many great ones to choose from that I couldn't decide which ones to omit, so I just put them all on! Cole loved every minute of it! It was more of a photo-op than anything because we were pressed for time, but nonetheless, he had a ball! Megan came with us and she is so great with Cole, it's amazing she's only 16!!! She'll be a great mom one day (in the very distant future)!!! Notice CJ and I did not wear our swimsuits, again! I don't think our white Tennessee skin could have handled all of that Florida beach sun! Cole is getting so big! I can't believe he'll turn one in less than two months! He has three teeth coming in and is working on his fourth!!! And he's running all over the house like a little maniac! I don't know where in his little body that he stores all that energy! He's AMAZING as always!!!

We had so much fun in FL! We hated to leave! We loved seeing all of our friends and family and will be sure to make another trip down soon! We got to spend time with CJ's family, hang out with old friends, eat lots of good food, and of course, watch the Gators play!!! We went to the beach with our friend Megan (we can't believe she's 16 years old! it seems like just yesterday that she was 11)!!! Cole was mesmerized by the water! He wasn't afraid at all! In fact, we had to keep him from walking right into the ocean! I have so many great pics that I want to decide which ones to put on the blog so that will have to wait until tomorrow because Mama needs her rest!!! :)

GO GATORS!!!

It was so wonderful to see all of our old friends and for them to meet Cole!!! We got together at Chuck's house to watch the Gator game and Cole didn't know what to think of all the new faces! When the boys started yelling at the TV (as boys watching football will do) Cole got so scared he was in hysterics, poor little guy!!! He got used to it after awhile and had lots of fun cheering on his team!!! He needs a fellow baby gator to hang with (hint hint Lon and Kelly)!!!

Cole loves to go down the slide at the park! He has that big open-mouthed smile every time he goes down!!!

CJ's parents have an awesome club house in their neighborhood. They have a water park and playground as well as a pool and other fun stuff to do there. We took Cole to play in the water and he loved it! He's such a water baby! It was so cute because he just walked right out in the middle of the water and just stood there! Notice CJ and I did not wear our bathing suits! Not sure what we were thinking!!!

Mommy's Birthday!!!

I haven't updated the blog in a LONG time! Cole is getting so BIG! We can't believe he's 10 months old already!!! He's getting his bottom two teeth and he started walking a couple weeks ago! We're going to Florida next weekend so I should have lots of fun pics to add soon!

It was my 29th birthday last weekend!!! :( I'm holding onto this one for, let's say, the next 5 years!!! :)

Our First Family Picnic!!!

It was a beautiful day so we decided to go to Shelby Farms for a picnic! Cole had so much fun putting his feet in the grass (and the grass in his mouth)!! Piper had lots of fun playing frisbee too!

Cole's personality is really starting to show! He's so tenacious and fearless and he has the best sense of humor! He smiles and laughs all the time! Man, does he have me running around the house! Notice in the last picture he's WALKING!!!

Cole is now taking baths in the "Big Boy" tub! It's funny how regular household items take on new names and uses when a baby comes along!!!
