Cole's first trip to the playground!!!

My mom and I took Cole to the playground at the park for the first time! It was a beautiful day and we had fun taking pictures! Cole, ever the observer, spent most of the time watching the other kids playing!!! He is getting close to walking, but no steps on his own yet! His first tooth appeared earlier this week and we're so excited to see what he'll look like with teeth! Although I must admit we'll miss that precious, gummy smile!!!

Cole's Baptism

Cole was baptized last weekend!!! He was so great and the entire time the priest was performing his baptism, he listened intently like he understood what was going on! CJ's family came up and Cole loved all the attention from his Pop pop, Nana and Uncle Johnny!

Active Little Rug Rat!!!

Not too much has been going on around here! Trying to stay COOL as it's been in the upper 90's!!! Cole is crawling EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING!!! He's so active and wants to get his little hands on everything he isn't supposed to!!! So much for all of his toys!!! The first couple pics are of him playing at my mom and dad's house and the rest are of him scuddling about our house looking for things to get into!!! He is getting baptized next weekend and CJ's parents and brother John are coming so I should have some cute pics to add to the blog! We are also going to Florida in September! I am so excited for Cole to meet all of our friends down there!!! We're hoping to go to the beach and the Discovery Museum so we should have lots to share soon!!!

Sick Boy!!! :(

Cole had his first fever and I was so worried!!! Who knew a little fever could keep me worried for days!!! I took him to the doctor like any self-respecting first-time mom would and his pediatrician said it was just a virus going around and that he'd be fine!!! He was right, but did neglect to mention the rash he would have ALL OVER his body when the fever broke!!! So another call to the doctor was very reassuring! He was so sweet all week long and he still slept well! He wanted to be close and he was such a cuddle bunny! I took a couple of pics of my sad little sick guy!!! He looks so pitiful!!
